Washington University in St. Louisمعرفی
Paul Stein is a Professor of Biology and Physical Therapy at Washington University, affiliated with the Department of Biology and Program in Physical Therapy. His research focuses on neuronal networks controlling rhythmic movements, particularly spinal cord mechanisms in turtles. He teaches Physiological Control Systems and mentors students in the Neuroscience Track.
Research interests include spinal cord control systems, neuroethology, and motor pattern generation. His work explores central pattern generators through electrophysiological studies of motor behaviors.
As academic advisor for the Neuroscience Track, he guides students pursuing research careers in biological aspects of the nervous system.
