Paul Regier

Paul Regier is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and coordinator of First Year Seminar at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma (2020), an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2011), and a BA in Mathematics and Physics from Bethel College (2009). His research focuses on how classroom environments shape student motivation and self-efficacy in mathematics.

Regier's research interests center on mathematical creativity, problem posing, and the impact of pedagogical approaches on student confidence. His work examines intrinsic motivation factors and self-efficacy development in proof-based mathematics.
