Paul Ramsland is an Adjunct Associate Professor in Immunology at Monash University, affiliated with the Alfred Hospital. His research spans structural immunology, vaccine design, and allergen immunobiology, with a focus on molecular mechanisms underlying immune responses to pathogens and allergens.
His recent work includes vaccine development using virus-like particles (2023) and structural studies of allergens like shrimp tropomyosin (2020). Key themes in his publications are Malaria immunology (2018), antibody targeting of microbial sugars (2018), and computational drug discovery for bacterial lectins (2018).
Paul is a Chief Investigator on projects such as the High Resolution Atomic Force Microscopy Facility (2017), collaborating with institutions like the Australian Research Council, RMIT University, and the University of Melbourne.
