Paul Potamianos

Paul Potamianos is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Public Policy and currently serves as Deputy Secretary of the Connecticut Office of Policy and Management. His career spans over three decades in public administration, focusing on budgeting and fiscal policy across federal and state agencies.

• Education: B.A. and M.P.A. from the University of Connecticut.

His research and professional interests lie in public finance, budgeting, and fiscal policy analysis. He has held key roles in both executive and legislative branches of government, including leadership positions in state budget offices and health/human services oversight.

Mr. Potamianos is a Certified Government Financial Manager through the Association of Government Accountants, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and an active participant in public service initiatives like the Boston Marathon.
