Paul P. Sotiriadis

Paul P. Sotiriadis is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and Director of the Electronics Laboratory there. He has held faculty positions at Johns Hopkins University and NTUA since 2012, with a research team of 25 members. His academic journey includes a Diploma from NTUA (1994), an M.S. from Stanford University (1996), and a Ph.D. from MIT (2002).

• Research Interests: Analog and Mixed Signal Circuits, Biomedical Instrumentation, Machine Learning, RF Frequency Synthesis, and Mathematical Modeling of Electronic Systems.

• Honors & Awards: IEEE Guillemin-Cauer Award, multiple Best Paper Awards, CASS Outstanding Technical Committee Recognition, and inclusion in the global top 2% most influential researchers.

• Editorial Roles: Associate Editor for IEEE Open Journal of Circuits and Systems (2024-2025) and IEEE Sensors Journal, with prior roles in IEEE Transactions.
