Paul Lillrank is a Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University, Finland. He pioneered the application of industrial management methods to healthcare systems and co-founded the Institute of Healthcare Engineering, Management and Architecture (HEMA) and The Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG) consultancy at Aalto.
