Paul Jisuen Wong

Paul Jisuen Wong is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California's Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, where he is affiliated with the Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy. He also serves as a faculty-in-residence at Cedars-Sinai, providing clinical pharmacy services for the internal medicine teams and supporting the experiential education program.

His research focuses on optimizing medication therapy in critical care settings, particularly for patients with complex conditions such as septic shock, obesity-related complications, and bleeding disorders requiring anticoagulation management. He has investigated the impact of obesity on norepinephrine dosing, hypotensive reactions associated with prothrombin complex concentrate, and personalized antiplatelet therapy in neurosurgical patients.

His recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on critical care pharmacotherapy, medication safety in special populations, and the impact of pandemics on drug supply chains. Dr. Wong's work bridges clinical practice with academic research, addressing practical challenges faced by pharmacists in hospital settings, particularly during public health emergencies like the COVID-19 pandemic.
