Paul J. Jannetto

Paul J. Jannetto, Ph.D., DABCC, FAACC, M.T.(ASCP), serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also holds the position of Laboratory Director at Mayo Clinic, where his clinical expertise focuses on Clinical and Forensic Toxicology, controlled substance monitoring, speciation and analysis of essential and heavy metals using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, and development of therapeutic drug monitoring assays.

Dr. Jannetto completed his educational training at prestigious institutions: a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Laboratory Medicine (2003) at Medical College of Wisconsin covering Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Toxicology, Forensic Toxicology, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Pharmacogenomics and Proteomics; a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology (2001) from Medical College of Wisconsin; and a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science-Medical Technology (1996) from University of Wisconsin.
