Paul Gazzillo is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida, affiliated with the College of Engineering and Computer Science. He holds a PhD from New York University and has held postdoctoral positions at Yale University and Stevens Institute of Technology. His research focuses on making software development safer and more secure, with emphasis on program analysis, software engineering, and security. Key areas include analyzing configurable software systems, securing software configurations, and mitigating side-channel attacks.
Education: PhD in Computer Science (NYU, 2016), MS (NYU, 2011), BS in Computer Science and Mathematics (Rutgers, 2003). Awards include the NSF CAREER Award (2020) and DARPA Young Faculty Award (2021). He leads the APPLeSEEd Lab and contributes to the Cyber Security and Privacy Research Cluster at UCF.
