Paul Gasser

Dr. Paul Gasser is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Marquette University and a member of the Neuroscience Research Center. His research program focuses on neuropharmacological mechanisms underlying stress responses, monoaminergic neurotransmission, and addiction processes, with particular emphasis on organic cation transporters and their role in mediating rapid effects of stress hormones.

Dr. Gasser completed his postdoctoral training at the Henry Wellcome Laboratories for Integrative Neuroscience and Endocrinology at the University of Bristol, United Kingdom (2005-2007) before joining Marquette University where he has been faculty since 2014.
