Paul Garwood is a Senior Lecturer in Prehistory at the University of Birmingham, specializing in the Neolithic and Bronze Age of Britain and north-west Europe. His primary research areas include funerary practices, ritual, monumental architecture, material culture, and landscape archaeology.
He holds a BA in Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, London, and an MSc in Social Anthropology from University College London. His career spans professional archaeology and academic roles at Oxford University before joining Birmingham in 1999.
