Paul Docherty is a Departmental Lecturer for the Diplomatic Studies Programme at the Department for Continuing Education, University of Oxford. He holds an MLitt and BA (Hons) in Economic History from the University of Strathclyde. His career spans international cultural relations and education, with significant roles at the British Council, including Cultural Attaché/Deputy Director in Moscow and Cultural Counsellor/Director in Prague, Rome, and Paris. He also served in UK-based roles such as Director Communications and Director Scotland.
