Paul Bouscasse is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Sciences Po, with research focusing on the intersection of macroeconomics, international finance, and economic history. He holds a PhD in Economics from Columbia University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cambridge.
His research examines critical historical economic phenomena such as currency devaluations, the origins of modern economic growth, and monetary-fiscal policy interactions. Key themes include long-term productivity analysis, historical macroeconomic modeling, and global financial dynamics.
