Paul B. Crilly is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Cyber Systems at the United States Coast Guard Academy. Previously, he spent 22 years at the University of Tennessee and served as an IEEE-USA Congressional Fellow. His research focuses on antennas, wireless communication, and digital signal processing.

Research Interests:
His work spans Wireless Communications, Antennas and Propagation, and Digital Signal Processing. Recent projects analyze plasma antenna behavior, HVHF ionospheric propagation, and RF direction finding. Earlier research contributed to GPS-denied navigation and biomedical instrumentation.

Professional Contributions:
As an ABET Program Evaluator, he has conducted 20 accreditation visits and authored 6 ABET Self-Study documents. He co-authored two textbooks and holds three patents in chromatography, welding control, and environmental sampling.
