Patty Watford is an Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at Augusta University's College of Allied Health Sciences. With over 30 years of experience, her work focuses on geriatric care, interprofessional education, and evidence-based practice. She serves on multiple committees including the Augusta University Faculty Senate (2021-2024) and chairs the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association as Vice President (2022-Present).

Her research examines occupational therapy interventions for elderly patients with chronic conditions. She received the 2022 Inspirational Educator & Mentor Award and serves as Faculty Advisor for Pi Theta Epsilon (2020-Present). Professional roles include Georgia Occupational Therapy Association Vice President (2022-Present) and participation in DEI strategic planning. Public service includes work with the Tim Tebow Foundation's Night to Shine (2023-2024).
