Patti Johnston is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Calgary. A Qallunaaq (non-Inuk) white settler from southern Canada, she works from Edmonton, Alberta on Treaty 6 lands. Her research focuses on community-based socio-health participatory approaches, examining the impacts of social, cultural, and economic policies on Inuit children and families in Nunavut.
