Patryk Sitkiewicz

Dr. Patryk Sitkiewicz is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Geomorphology and Quaternary Geology, Faculty of Oceanography and Geography, University of Gdańsk. His research focuses on coastal geomorphology, marine geology, and sedimentology, particularly in the Baltic Sea region.

His recent work addresses anthropogenic impacts on coastal zones, washover dynamics, and advanced mapping techniques using multibeam echosounders. He has contributed to understanding sediment transport, coastal erosion, and the geological structure of submerged environments. Dr. Sitkiewicz collaborates with the Geomorphological Reconstruction Laboratory at the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography.
