Patrizia Cancemi

Patrizia Cancemi is an Associate Professor in the Biological, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies school at the University of Palermo. Her research spans multiple disciplines with a focus on proteomics, cancer biology, and nanomedicine applications.

Her primary research interests include proteomic analysis of various diseases, particularly breast cancer and multiple sclerosis, with emphasis on matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) as potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
