Dr. Patrick Wijchers is an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University, affiliated with the University College Utrecht. He serves as a Senior Tutor and lecturer in Molecular Cell Biology, with expertise in interdisciplinary education, epigenetics, and functional genomics. From January to July 2025, he will be on sabbatical and not regularly available via email.

Dr. Wijchers teaches courses such as Advanced Biotechnology, Advanced Molecular Cell Biology, and That's Life: Biology Today. During regular semesters, his walk-in office hours are Mondays 4:30–6:00 PM (MS-TEAMS), Wednesdays 7:00–8:30 PM (in-person), and Fridays 4:00–5:00 PM (in-person). During winter and summer terms, consultations are by appointment only.
