Patrick Regan

Patrick Regan is the NPL Professor of Nuclear Metrology at the University of Surrey and Head of Science for the Medical, Marine, and Nuclear Department at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). He specializes in nuclear structure physics, radiation detection, and metrology, with a focus on exotic nuclei, gamma-ray spectroscopy, and applications in medicine and environmental monitoring. His research bridges fundamental physics and applied metrology, addressing challenges in nuclear forensics, energy, and health.
