Dr. Colletti's research interests focus on nuclear medicine applications across multiple domains including cardiac imaging, molecular imaging, PET/CT techniques, MRI methodology, and theranostics in oncology. His work has significantly advanced the understanding of imaging biomarkers for diagnosis, treatment planning, and response assessment in cardiovascular disease and cancer. He has made substantial contributions to establishing standardized imaging protocols and clinical guidelines in nuclear medicine.
His recent publications demonstrate a strong emphasis on clinical applications of nuclear medicine, particularly in oncology (prostate cancer, myeloma), neurology (Alzheimer's disease), and cardiology. There's a clear trend toward theranostics, with multiple articles on PSMA radioligand therapy and cancer theranostics. His work also addresses practical challenges in nuclear medicine practice, including supply issues and AI applications in medical research.
