Zoro is a Teaching Assistant Professor and Program Manager for the Master of Financial Engineering program at the Perella Department of Finance, College of Business and Economics, Lehigh University. With over 20 years of experience in New York City as a Managing Director for BNP Paribas' Portfolio Management Group, he specializes in financial strategy development, credit migration, and investment policy creation.
His research interests broadly span financial engineering, quantitative finance, and risk management, with specific subtopic expertise in blockchain applications, large language models for financial analysis, and macroeconomic forecasting using advanced statistical methods. He actively integrates experiential learning through corporate partnerships in asset management, AI, and blockchain technologies.
Zoro created the Quant / Master in Financial Engineering Podcast and the annual Lehigh Quant Conference, serving as platforms to explore cutting-edge developments in financial technology. He oversees dozens of experiential quant projects with third-party firms, including hedge funds, banks, and AI companies.
As Program Manager, he teaches securities analysis, portfolio management, financial engineering practicum, and corporate finance courses. His industry experience includes developing CDS and CLO investment strategies, while his academic work focuses on preparing students for quantitative finance roles through innovative curriculum development.
