Dr. Patrick Dunlop is a Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Head of the Doctoral College at Ulster University. He is also a member of the Engineering Research Institute and a Chartered Biologist. His research focuses on nanomaterials for water/wastewater disinfection, self-cleaning medical devices, and rapid detection of antimicrobial-resistant organisms. He holds a BSc (1st Class Hons) and PhD from Ulster University, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
