Patrick Dubé is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Resources Management at HEC Montréal. He holds an M.Sc. in Human Resource Management from HEC Montréal and a B.A. in Psychology from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR). His teaching focuses on human resources strategies, employee performance, and organizational management. Recent courses include 'Performance and Employee Engagement in Sports Organizations' and 'Quebec Experience' modules.
His research interests emphasize practical HR applications, such as workforce integration, retention strategies, and the psychological impacts of managerial behaviors in workplaces. Over the past five years, he has supervised three MSc projects addressing HR challenges in non-profit organizations and healthcare institutions. Notable projects include optimizing employee onboarding processes for the Scout Association of Canada and analyzing the role of humor in HR management within healthcare networks.
Dr. Dubé is affiliated with HEC Montréal’s main campus at 3000 chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montréal. He currently teaches across multiple semesters, balancing theoretical frameworks with applied HR practices.
