Patrick Diel

Patrick Diel is a Professor at the Department of Cardiology and Sports Medicine at Duale Hochschule Köln. His research focuses on molecular and cellular aspects of sports medicine, particularly examining the effects of dietary supplements, exercise physiology, and pharmacological agents on muscle function and health outcomes. He leads projects investigating topics such as polyphenol-rich diets in pre-diabetes populations, postmenopausal exercise interventions, and cannabinoid applications for muscle recovery.

Key research areas include skeletal muscle biology, phytoestrogen impacts, and therapeutic procedures in sports medicine.
