Patrick Brandful Cobbinah

Patrick Brandful Cobbinah is an Associate Professor in Urban Planning at the University of Melbourne, affiliated with the Melbourne School of Design. He holds a PhD in Human Geography (Regional Planning and Resource Conservation) from Charles Sturt University and a BSc (hons) in Human Settlement Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana.

His research focuses on sustainable urban development, climate change adaptation, and African urbanization. He has contributed to collaborative projects with institutions in Australia, USA, Canada, China, and Africa. Cobbinah is a member of the Ghana Institute of Planners, a Global Young Academy Fellow, and a University of Michigan African Presidential Scholar.

His work examines urban resilience, informal settlements, and environmental conservation across African cities.
