Patricia Päßler is a Researcher at Bielefeld University's Faculty of Physics. She is affiliated with the Mathematical Physics Group and contributes to the Collaborative Research Center SFB 1283 "Taming uncertainty and profiting from randomness and low regularity in analysis, stochastics and their applications", specifically working on project C6: "Coupled random matrices in field theory and statistical mechanics". She is also a member of the Bielefeld Graduate School in Theoretical Sciences as a Doctoral Student member.
Her research focuses on mathematical physics with emphasis on random matrix theory applications in statistical mechanics and field theory. She investigates coupled random matrices to better understand uncertainty and randomness in complex mathematical models. Her work falls within Bielefeld University's "Mathematical World" strategic research area that develops fundamental mathematical concepts to solve challenging problems across scientific disciplines.
As part of the Mathematical Physics Group, she contributes to Bielefeld University's research profile of "Transcending Boundaries" between disciplines. Her research is supported through the German Research Foundation-funded SFB 1283, representing significant collaborative research at the university.
