Patricia Ferrieri

Patricia Ferrieri is a Professor in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. Her work spans clinical research, microbiology, and pediatric infectious diseases, with a focus on bacterial pathogenesis and infection control.

Her research interests include Group B Streptococcus (GBS), Staphylococcus aureus decolonization, Borrelia miyamotoi neuroinfections, and microbial mechanisms in otitis media. She actively explores genomic epidemiology, diagnostic microbiology, and zoonotic pathogens.
