Patricia Armati

Professor Patricia Armati is an Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney's Central Clinical School, Department of Medicine. Her research focuses on Neuroscience, particularly neuroglial cells, Schwann cell biology, and neural mechanisms underlying pain and neurodegenerative diseases. She co-edited major works like PAIN: The Person, The Science, The Clinical Interface and holds leadership roles in the Nerve Research Foundation and the International Peripheral Nerve Society.
