Pasi Kuusela is an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the Department of Innovation Management and Strategy, University of Groningen. He holds a Doctor of Science (Tech.) in technology strategy and venturing from Aalto University, Finland, and previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich. His research focuses on strategic decision-making, including technology acquisitions, divestments, and patenting, emphasizing how organizational contexts like aspirations and structures influence decisions. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Business and contributes to journals like Administrative Science Quarterly and Strategic Management Journal. He teaches strategic management, innovation management, and quantitative methods across undergraduate to doctoral levels.
