Pascale Pare-Rey is a Senior Lecturer in Latin Language and Literature at Lyon III University, affiliated with the HiSoMA Laboratory. She specializes in Latin theatre, Seneca's tragedies, and classical reception, particularly in Renaissance contexts. Her roles include:
- Head of Axis B at HiSoMA
- RPS HiSoMA Referrer
- Coordinator of the 'Ancient Text Sciences' program
- Director of the 'Clefs Concours-Lettres Classiques' collection
Research themes focus on dramaturgy, intertextuality, stylistics, and cultural history of ancient theatre. She leads the ANR-funded IThAC project on 16th-century paratexts of ancient theatre and contributes to the RéThA network. Her editorial roles include membership in the Advisory Board of Emerita (2019–2023) and section secretary of APLAES (since 2018).
