Pascal MOYAL is a Professor at Université de Lorraine, affiliated with the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Probability and Statistics team within the IECL (Institut Élie Cartan de Lorraine). He leads the M2 IMSD program (Mathematical Engineering and Data Science) and collaborates with institutions like Telecom ParisTech, École des Ponts et Chaussées, and Inria's PASTA team.
- Research focuses on stochastic processes, including Markovian modeling, random graph dynamics, ergodic stability, and reinforcement learning.
- Applications span healthcare optimization, telecom network performance, epidemiology, and IoT trust management.
His recent publications analyze stochastic matching models, random graphs, and queueing systems, with applications to healthcare and IoT. He has supervised multiple PhD students and led the ANR MATCHES project (2023), focusing on heterogeneous user matching in healthcare systems. Partnerships include LORIA, LIP6, Northwestern University, and Telecom institutions.
