Dr. Parag Sheth is an Assistant Professor in Rehabilitation and Human Performance at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He serves as Director of Spinal Intervention and is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pain Management. His expertise includes spinal interventions, chronic pain management, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Education:
- BS from Johns Hopkins University (with honors)
- MD from SUNY Stony Brook Medical School
- Residency in Rehabilitation Medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center (Chief Resident)
- Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic
Research & Teaching: Dr. Sheth has published in prestigious journals like Nature, Lancet, and American Journal of Sports Medicine. He lectures extensively on low back pain and leads a yearly cadaveric dissection course and musculoskeletal lecture series. He has received teaching awards for his contributions to resident education.
