معرفی
Paolo Meda is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Trento. His research focuses on theoretical physics, particularly in semiclassical gravity, cosmology, and black hole physics. He has been actively involved in projects like "The Semiclassical Paradigm Applied In Cosmology And Black Hole Evaporation (SPACE)" (2025-2028), funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR), which investigates quantum matter interactions with classical gravity using advanced mathematical methods.
His work addresses critical challenges in understanding the stability of semiclassical Einstein equations, quantum trace anomalies in black hole evaporation, and the thermodynamics of de Sitter horizons. Publications include studies on entropy-area laws, trace anomaly effects, and mathematical formulations of quantum field theory in curved spacetimes.
Notable collaborations include researchers like Nicola Pinamonti, Simone Roncallo, and Nino Zanghi. Current projects aim to derive general bounds on black hole evaporation rates and explore stochastic frameworks for cosmological perturbations. His research bridges abstract mathematical physics with observable phenomena in gravitational collapse and early universe evolution.
