Paolo Cattaneo

Paolo Cattaneo is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Milan, teaching Semiotics of music and rehabilitation techniques since 2002. He also serves as a lecturer for music therapy techniques at the Centro Professionale Sociosanitario in Lugano (since 2011) and as Didactic Director at the Helvetic Music Institute in Bellinzona (since 2000). His career spans music therapy, jazz education, and interdisciplinary work between pedagogy and music.

He has contributed to continuing education in pedagogy/music therapy since 2010 and worked as a Music Therapy Consultant at Milan's San Carlo Borromeo Hospital from 1990–2015. A lifelong performer and composer in jazz and contemporary music, he has presented at numerous conferences and published in professional journals.
