Paola Francesca Rivaro

Paola Francesca Rivaro is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry, Università di Genova. Her research focuses on environmental chemistry, chemical oceanography, and analytical chemistry, particularly in marine systems and cultural heritage preservation.

She teaches courses including Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Analytical Chemistry, and Chemical Oceanography for Master's and undergraduate programs in Environmental Sciences and Chemical Sciences. Her recent work involves iron speciation, organic ligand characterization, and freshwater dynamics in polar regions like the Ross Sea and Svalbard.

Publications highlight her expertise in marine environmental analysis, combining electrochemical and mass spectrometric methods to study trace metal behavior in seawater ecosystems.
