Pantelis Monogioudis is a Senior University Lecturer in Data Science at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). He holds a Ph.D. in Communications Theory from the University of Surrey (1994), an M.S. in Telematics (1991), and a B.E. in Electronics from the Technological Education Institute of Athens (1990). His research focuses on wireless communication systems, with particular emphasis on 5G networks, LTE systems, interference management, and localization technologies. Dr. Monogioudis has contributed extensively to the development of algorithms for network optimization, resource allocation, and interference mitigation in heterogeneous cellular environments.
His work spans theoretical advancements and practical implementations in areas such as self-organizing networks, mobility robustness optimization, and precoding techniques. He has authored numerous patents and publications addressing challenges in wireless communication infrastructure, including solutions for dynamic resource scheduling, adaptive quality control, and signal processing in fading channels. His research also explores machine learning applications for spectral clustering and uplink interference management in 4G/5G systems.
Notable contributions include methodologies for optimizing evolved node-B placement in heterogeneous networks, localization algorithms for devices in 5G systems, and interference cancellation techniques in OFDMA/CDMA systems.
