Peter Panitschek is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Antiquity within the Faculty of Humanities at Karl-Franzens-University Graz. His work focuses on the holistic study of antiquity, spanning early Mediterranean and Near Eastern civilizations to the fall of the Roman Empire, with an emphasis on geographical, historical, cultural, literary, and linguistic diversity. He contributes to interdisciplinary research and teaching in Ancient Cultures of the Mediterranean.
