Panayot Savov

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arch. Panayot Savov is affiliated with the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Public Buildings and conducts educational activities.

• Master of Architecture (UACG, 2006)
• Doctoral degree in Architecture of buildings, constructions, structures and details (UACG, 2013)

His research focuses on public architecture, exploring symbolic public buildings and heterotopias, while also investigating architectural representations in cinema. He contributes to analog and solar photography, including objective and anamorphic techniques.

Recent trends in his work emphasize interdisciplinary connections between architectural theory and visual arts.

• Teacher of the Year award at UACG Faculty of Architecture (2022, 2024)

Panayot Savov teaches students in architecture programs and maintains expertise in building design projects. He demonstrates fluency in English (very good) and Russian (good).
