Panagiotis Petridis is an Associate Professor in Gamification at Aston Business School, part of Aston University's College of Business and Social Sciences. He holds a PhD in Interactions in Cultural Heritage Institutions from Sussex University and a PGCert in Higher Education from Coventry University. He has extensive experience in virtual reality, simulation, and gaming technologies, focusing on their application in behavior change and decision-making through immersive experiences.
His research interests include Mixed Reality/VR/AR, Human-Computer Interaction, and Gamification. He has led and contributed to numerous grants including EPSRC-funded projects on product-service systems and low-carbon lifestyles. He has also been PI on initiatives like the Adventure in AI Project promoting AI literacy for children and the RAISE project improving rail accessibility through simulation.
