Pamela Bryant serves as a Senior Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, University of Toronto, where she played a foundational role in establishing the School of Public Policy and Governance. Her contributions include designing curriculum, teaching policy implementation courses, developing the Master of Public Policy internship program, and cultivating strategic partnerships across government, business, and non-profit sectors.
Her academic background comprises an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster University and a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Toronto.
Ms. Bryant's research focuses on practical public policy applications, with emphasis on immigration and settlement systems, accessibility frameworks, and governance/service delivery innovation. Her work bridges academic theory and real-world implementation through cross-sector collaboration to address systemic societal challenges.
She previously led high-impact policy initiatives during her extensive Ontario Public Service career, followed by community-level reform through leadership roles at Covenant House, Fred Victor (as member and Chair), and as inaugural Chair of the Seaton House Family Health Team. Her internship program development demonstrates commitment to student professional integration within policy ecosystems.
