Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies, University of South Florida (USF), with roles spanning academic advising, teaching, and research. She has served as an Academic Advisor for the International Studies and Africana Studies majors since 2012 and teaches courses such as Food Politics, International Relations, and American Government. Her primary affiliation is with the College of Arts and Sciences.

Research Interests: Pamela’s work focuses on the societal, labor, health, and security impacts of industrial agriculture. She explores topics like food politics, agro-business lobbying, and international food security. Her research adopts interdisciplinary perspectives, including political theory and socio-cultural analysis.

Advising & Leadership: As Faculty Advisor for the International Studies Society, Project Hayat, and Sigma Iota Rho, Pamela mentors students and promotes academic integrity. She also contributes to committees such as the Academic Integrity & Grievance Committee and the USF/CAS Scholarship Committee.

Labs/Teams: Active in interdisciplinary initiatives, Pamela collaborates with student organizations to address global challenges like food insecurity and sustainable development.
