Pam Daniels is a Charles Deering McCormick Distinguished Clinical Professor at Northwestern University, affiliated with Segal Design programs including the Design Thinking & Communication certificate. With over nine years at Northwestern, she has developed ten innovative courses spanning human-centered design, entrepreneurship, and anti-racism frameworks. Her interdisciplinary work bridges academic design education and professional practice.
Daniels holds an MS in Product Design & Development from Northwestern University and a BA from Tufts University. She integrates this academic foundation with extensive industry experience from leadership roles at IDEO, Leo Burnett, and her award-winning design practice Welcome Industries.
Her research explores human-centered design methodologies, inclusive product development, and experiential learning frameworks. This is evidenced through course development in UX design, visionary systems, and community-engaged projects. Her creative practice intersects art, social commentary, and functional design, with work featured by MoMA Design Store and major media outlets.
