Paloma Mas

Paloma Mas is a Research Professor at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), affiliated with the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) on the UAB Campus in Barcelona. She leads the research group focused on molecular mechanisms of circadian clock function within the Plant Development and Signal Transduction program.

Her research explores plant circadian rhythms and their role in growth regulation. The group investigates how molecular clocks interact with environmental signals to coordinate plant development, focusing on transcriptional networks and post-translational modifications.

As a CSIC Research Professor, she combines fundamental research with leadership in plant signal transduction studies. The lab maintains active collaborations with international institutions and participates in multidisciplinary projects linking chronobiology to agricultural applications.
