His research focuses on deconstructing cultural identity fictions through the lens of left-wing politics, state formation, and print media. He explores intersections between historical narratives, public spaces, and collective subjectivities in post-revolutionary Mexico.
Recent publications highlight his interdisciplinary approach: analyses of Mexican illustrated newspapers (2022), critiques of modern political satire in cinema (2019), feminist movements in border regions (2016), and philosophical inquiries into scientific laws (2015). A forthcoming book with University of Arizona Press examines collective subjectivities during the Mexican Revolution.
