معرفی
Pablo Fernández Garrido is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Physics at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Biophysics and Medical Physics group and the LCBC research center. His work focuses on biophysical systems including molecular recognition processes, thermodynamic analysis of colloidal systems, and applications of machine learning in medical diagnostics. He has contributed to studies on post-COVID-19 pathophysiology, lipidomic/proteomic biomarker discovery, and computational models for peptide-nanotube interactions.
His research spans interdisciplinary topics such as cyclodextrin complex behavior, aggregation number determination via calorimetry, and the development of diagnostic tools for pancreatic cancer using thermal liquid biopsy approaches. Garrido has also developed software tools like STAND-ITC and contributed to the AFFINImeter platform for analyzing molecular interactions.
Key publications include investigations into SARS-CoV-2 inhibition mechanisms via nanoring structures, lipidomic signatures of prolonged inflammation in post-COVID patients, and machine learning models for pancreatic cancer diagnosis using serum samples. His work bridges experimental biophysics with computational modeling, emphasizing translational applications in healthcare and material science.
