Dr. Pablo Alejandro Barrionuevo serves as a Researcher in the Sensorimotor Learning group at the Department of General and Biological Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, Philipps University of Marburg. Based in Room 01005 of the Institute Building at Gutenbergstraße 18, Marburg, he contributes to the Collaborative Research Center SFB/TRR 135 as an External Person.
His research centers on sensorimotor learning mechanisms, exploring how sensory inputs guide motor adaptation and behavioral plasticity. This work integrates cognitive neuroscience methodologies with psychological frameworks to investigate neural processing of sensorimotor integration, with emphasis on biological underpinnings of perceptual-motor transformations and adaptive learning processes.
Within the Schütz Group, Dr. Barrionuevo participates in experimental investigations of visual-motor coordination and neural correlates of learning, utilizing behavioral paradigms and neuroscientific approaches to advance understanding of sensorimotor system functionality.
