PJ Beek

Prof. Dr. PJ Beek is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, affiliated with departments Biomechanics, IBBA, and AMS - Sports. He holds editorial roles at MDPI's Sensors journal and coordinates research at InnoSportLab De Tongelreep in Eindhoven. His expertise spans biomechanics, motor learning, and clinical applications in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and intellectual disability. Over 500+ publications and 49 supervised PhD theses highlight his contributions to sports science, clinical psychology, and movement disorders.
