PINAR AYDOĞAN

Assoc. Prof. PINAR AYDOĞAN is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration, Karadeniz Technical University. She holds a Doctorate (2016) and Postgraduate (2008) in Public Administration from Karadeniz Technical University and Gazi University, respectively.

• Research Areas: Political Science, Social Sciences, Women's Studies, Public Administration, History of Turkish Republic, Cultural Studies.
• Academic Roles: Deputy Head of Department (2024-Present), Assistant Professor (2018-2024), Research Assistant (2016-2017).

Her research focuses on gender in politics, Turkish political history, modernization, and the intersection of social sciences with public policy. She has published extensively on topics such as the Free Republican Party, anti-communist discourse, and the role of women in early republican Turkey.

Recent projects include a TUBITAK-funded study on specialized approaches in women's shelters, aiming to enhance integration and support systems. She actively participates in peer-review processes for journals like Yakın Dönem Türkiye Araştırmaları and Akademik Araştırmalar ve Çalışmalar Dergisi.
