PAUL KEIPER

Paul Keiper is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management at Texas A&M University. He holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Texas A&M University (2002), a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Northwestern State University (1997), and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Concordia University (1987). His expertise spans organizational culture, leadership in athletics, and sport management education. Keiper teaches courses such as Personnel Management in Sport, Research Methods for Sport Organizations, and Olympic Studies.

His research focuses on enhancing educational strategies in sport management, including writing self-efficacy in undergraduates and online program development. Notable projects include a National Collegiate Athletic Association-funded study on writing habits (2020-2021) and a PGA Golf Management University program assessment (2015-2016). He has published widely on organizational leadership, NCAA coaching methodologies, and sport management pedagogy.

Keiper serves as Faculty Advisor for the Sport Management Society Club (2011) and Master’s Program Assessment Coordinator (2012). His work bridges academic research with practical applications in athletic administration and educational policy.
